This year, the International Museum Day will be celebrated by museums operating in our country with a series of online presentations and events, taking into account the special quarantine regime.

 International Museum Day will also be held by the National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS. In this regard, the museum has developed an online promotional project "One touch, a thousand values."

As part of the project, on May 18 at 10:20am the head of the museum's Ethnographic Scientific Fund, PhD in History Sevinj Nasirova will inform the public about the protection of cultural heritage and future joint activities of museums on Ictimai TV's "Dikdaban" program.

Note that  International Museum Day, established in 1977 at the initiative of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), is celebrated every year on May 18 under a certain slogan around the world. The slogan of this year's International Museum Day is "Museums for Equality: Diversity and Inclusion."
