Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Presidium adopted a decree on establishing the Azerbaijan Museum of Natural History on geology, paleontology, mineralogy and fauna.

Decree adopted to ensure issues arising from the relevant resolution of the President Ilham Aliyev on October 20, 2014.

Director of the Museum of Natural History of ANAS, PhD in Biology Tariyel Eybatov was charged to prepare and submit to the Department of Earth Sciences the position and structure, as well as the necessary arrangements for the operation of the Museum of Natural History at ANAS, taking into account the “Concept for the establishment of Museum of Natural History on geology, paleontology, mineralogy and fauna of the Republic of Azerbaijan.”

Control over the execution of the decree was entrusted to Vice President of ANAS, academician Ibrahim Guliyev.
