Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Besides, collecting, promoting of exhibits, implementation of scientific research works, National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS is engaged in publication of scientific books.

Thus, in 2020, a number of publications were published on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of this cultural center. The book "Alphabet", authored by the director of the museum, academician Naila Valikhanli and PhD associate professor Mahfuza Zeynalova, is addressed to children and adolescents, including adults. The publication presents information about the ancient history of Azerbaijan, material and cultural samples, various household items together with photos. Their names, which have already left our language and become anachronistic, are mentioned.

Another publication published by the museum is the album "Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev in photos" in Azerbaijani and Russian languages, edited by academician Naila Valikhanli and authored and edited by PhD associate professor Farhad Jabbarov, reflecting the life and activity of the prominent Azerbaijani philanthropist H. Tagiyev by photos.

The book "Albanian Warrior in Uchtapa Mound", edited by academician N.Valikhanli and authored by PhD associate professor Sabuhi Ahmadov, provides information about unique artifacts found during archeological excavations at Uchtapa Mound in the Mil plain of Azerbaijan.

The booklet "Keys of Azerbaijani cities" with information and photos about the historical keys of Azerbaijani cities preserved in the Museum's Weapons and Flags fund has been published in Azerbaijani and English by PhD in History associate professor Sevinj Vahabova.

In addition, the museum's collection of lighting equipment includes a booklet "Magic Lamp" with information and photos of various local and foreign historical lamps, a book about our historical clothing culture, national women's clothing "Beauty is ...", as well as the book "Azerbaijan in the photos of Dmitry Yermakov" about the life and work of famous russian photographer D.Yermakov and his photos about Azerbaijan has been published in Azerbaijani and English.

Note that, new publications were published by the decision of the Scientific Council of the museum.
