An online meeting of the “Ilandagh” geopark Working Group was held, which includes specialists from the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, State Real Estate and Land Issues Service and Nakhchivan State University.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the work done this year, the results of expeditions and future tasks.

The event discussed the clarification of the boundaries of the “Ilandagh” geopark, mapping geological, geomorphological, ecological biodiversity, creating a computer database on historical, architectural and archaeological sites, as well as preparing proposals for the reconstruction of the district’s infrastructure.
