Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS will host a scientific conference on "The first congress of the East peoples - Baku, 1920. The Eastern world 100 years ago and today."

Divisions of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Academy and Institute of Oriental Studies named after acad. Z. Bunyadov will be organizers of the event, which will be dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Congress of Oriental Peoples held in Baku on September 1-7, 1920.

The conference will feature lectures on various topics in the sections "Eastern world 100 years ago. Historical view" and "Eastern world today. Current issues of Eastern countries".

Requirements for acceptance of thesis abstracts:

- Microsoft Word, Times New Roman font - 12, page spacing 1.5;

- At the beginning of the text in the middle should be the title of the thesis in large and dark font, below the right in small and dark font the author's name, patronymic, surname, and below it the place of work, academic degree and e-mail address;

- Spaces at the edges of the text - left side 3 cm, right side 1 cm, top and bottom 2 cm;

- The text of the thesis should not exceed 1 page.

Theses should be sent to the e-mail address baki_qurultayi-100@mail.ru by July 15, 2020.

The exact date of the conference will be determined depending on the special quarantine regime and additional information will be provided.
