Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The "Spelling Dictionary of the Azerbaijani Language" compiled by the Azerbaijan State Translation Center has been published in order to protect the purity of the state language, organize its proper use and translation.

The dictionary has been compiled on the principle of correct choice of modern and ancient Azerbaijani words, terms used in various fields, as well as in accordance with the "Spelling Norms of the Azerbaijani language" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on April 16, 2019.

Compiler of the dictionary and author of the "Foreword" - Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan State Translation Center, People's Writer Afag Masud, Editorial Board - Academician Nizami Jafarov, Professors Vilayat Guliyev, Gulu Maharramli, Jahangir Mammadli, Jalil Nagiyev, Rustam Kamal, Associate Professor Ismayil Mammadov, the editor of the publishing is Latafat Samadova.
