Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Within the framework of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS, the House-Museum of Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev operating under this institution was opened after restoration and reconstruction works.

National Museum of Azerbaijan History, located in the palace, where the famous businessman and philanthropist Haji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev once had lived, carries out numerous works in order to study and promote his rich heritage, publishes books and holds various events.

A large screen displayed on the new exposition of the House-Museum, provides information information on H.Z. Tagiyev's entrepreneurship and public activity, on charitable work in Azerbaijan and abroad, on his family, in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages.

In addition, the new exposition displays paintings, documents, photographs, orders of H.Z. Tagiyev, books published at his expense, preserved in the museum's funds.
