The book “The Epic of Dede Gorgud: Khan's Concept, Metaphors of Youth and Psychological Complexes”, written by a young scientist-folklorist, employee of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD in Philology, associate professor Safa Garayev, was published.

For the first time in the practice of national urban science, the book uses the psychoanalytic method in the context of socio-anthropological approaches to the system of meanings of the epic “Kitabi-Dede Gorgud”.

The first chapter of the book, consisting of two chapters, is called "Epic reality and metaphorical meaning in" Kitabi-Dede Gorgud ", and the second chapter is" Madness in "Kitabi-Dede Gorgud": psychosemantic etiology and symbolic semantics.

One of the important qualities of the publication is the application of the concept of “position”, which is one of the main approaches in the folklore of the modern world.
