The German publishing house “Lambert” publishes a book by the doctor of philological sciences Islam Sadig “Sumerian and Turkic epics” in 8 European languages - English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Polish, Portuguese, as well as Russian.

The book “Sumerian and Turkic Epics” by Islam Sadig, who has great merit in the formation of Sumerology in Azerbaijan as a separate science, contains a small part of the scientist’s research in this area. In the work, a comparative analysis of the Sumerian and Turkic epics was carried out, numerous similar and identical motives were revealed.

The monograph is the first significant work devoted to a comparative analysis of the Sumerian and Turkic epics. Its publication in 8 languages in Europe is a great success of domestic science and Turkology in general.

Note that last year, the book of Islam Sadig "Sumerian and Turkic epics" was published in Turkey.
