The article, co-authored by scientists of the Institute of Additive Chemistry of ANAS named after academician Ali Guliyev of ANAS and their Belarusian colleagues, was published in the journal “Journal of Molecular Structure” (impact factor - 2.463).
The article reflects the results of the research work “Synthesis of new heteroatomic compounds based on phenylthiocarbamide and acetophenone, a computer study of biological activity” carried out by the director of the institute academician Vagif Farzaliyev, deputy director for scientific work, Doctor of Chemical sciences, associate professor Afsun Sujayev, researchers of the institution - PhD in Chemistry Sabiya Osmanova, Sevinj Gojayeva and Konul Gahramanova, together with colleagues from the Institute of Biochemistry of Biologically Active Compounds of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB).
The article presents methods for producing new synthesized physiologically active substances, the results of a detailed study of their crystal structure and computer study of the spectrum of biological activity. These studies were carried out as part of a joint international project “Synthesis and chemical modification of biologically active substances, the creation of biologically active additives and drugs based on them,” which was implemented by the Institute of Additive Chemistry and the Institute of Biochemistry of Biologically Active Compounds of the National Academy of Sciences.
Note that the Journal of Molecular Structure, archived in the Web of Science database, is one of the Q1 rated journals in the field of molecular chemistry research.
