Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

With the joint organizational support of the Office of External Relations of the Presidium of ANAS and the Khazar University, an online meeting was held to discuss the current state of affairs in the field of transfer of intellectual knowledge and scientific and technological innovations and its directions.

Representatives of various research organizations, as well as employees of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry of ANAS took part in the event with the participation of leading specialists of the Center for Joint Research of the European Commission.

The meeting discussed such issues as the relationship of technology transfer with the strategy of the national economy and the national framework for the regulation and protection of intellectual property, the structure of research funding, cooperation between research centers, universities and industrial enterprises, the evaluation of research works funded by the state. The parties also exchanged views on the activities of public and private structures responsible for registering and protecting technology transfer and intellectual property rights, assessing potential technologies that can create a competitive advantage in priority scientific research in the country, as well as assessing the current state of affairs in the field application of the results of the implementation of innovative and scientific and technological projects.

In conclusion, appropriate decisions were made on the above issues.
