Employees of the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center of ANAS took part in the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference "The Impact of Climate Change on the Spatial Development of the Earth's Territories: Consequences and Solutions", which was held by the Kherson State Agrarian University (Ukraine).

At the international online conference, articles were presented by the director of the Lenkoran Regional Scientific Center, Professor Farman Guliyev and the chief researcher of the center, PhD in Agricultural Sciences Khaligverdi Babayev.

In his article, Professor Farman Guliyev spoke about the main diseases of pomegranate, which is grown on chestnut soils in Azerbaijan, and Khaligverdi Babayev - about measures to prevent soil erosion on slope lands in Lankaran region.

Note that the purpose of the international conference is a comprehensive discussion of possible solutions to pressing environmental problems and determining the direction of the impact of climate change on the spatial development of the Earth's territories, establishing contacts between scientists from different countries and publishing the results of scientific research.
