The Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) put forward a number of the offers concerning activity of academy in the next years.

Acceptance of a state program on training within the plan of measures in connection with 70-year anniversary of ANAS in 2015, creation of university and lyceum of young talents is provided at ANAS, science and technology park construction for the purpose of commercialization of research works of innovative character, a bookmark of “The scientific town”, etc. he plan of measures was approved at meeting of Presidium of ANAS.

The president of ANAS,academician Akif Alizade noted that concerning solemn celebration of 70-year anniversary of academy will lift the petition before the state.He considers necessary the invitation to action of scientists and experts of foreign countries, organization of events at the state and international level.The Academic secretary of ANAS, corresponding member Rasim Aliguliyev told that to the leaders of the state addresses concerning the announcement of 2015 for Year of science and will be directed assignment of the name “Elmlar Akademiyasi” one of streets of Baku.Also the plan of measures includes the edition of the book devoted to anniversary, and books “Presidents of ANAS”, preparation of medal “ANAS-70” , reconstruction of the building of board in “The scientific town”, introduction of the health insurance for employees, the organization of policlinic, a medical and improving complex, fitness centers and the rest centers in regions.The task to prepare the documentary film devoted stories of Academy, and the organization of exhibitions in regions is also set.The task to prepare the documentary film devoted stories of Academy, and the organization of exhibitions in regions is also set.Besides, the plan of measures also included offers to refer employees of ANAS to the category “special civil servants”, about increase of salaries to level of an average salary, about improvement of living conditions and working conditions, the organization of motivational competitions, etc.
