The monograph "Medieval cities of Nakhchivan: Aza (historical and archaeological research)" was published by the head of the department of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, head of the archaeological expedition Kharaba Gilan, conducting scientific research in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, PhD in history Bahlul Ibrahimli.

The publication is devoted to the study of the history and material culture of Aza, one of the medieval cities of Nakhchivan. The monograph briefly touches upon the political history of the region. It tells in detail about the archaeological research of the city of Aza, the preserved monuments and their period.
