Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

As you know, in the "State program for the use in accordance with the requirements of the time of the Azerbaijani language in the context of globalization and the development of linguistics in the country", approved by the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences was instructed to develop software for transliteration with of the Azerbaijani alphabet to other alphabets based on national transliteration standards.

In order to ensure the implementation of the aforementioned presidential order, ANAS Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi, together with specialists from the Institute of Oriental Studies, Baku State University, Baku Slavic University and Azerbaijan University of Languages, compiled transliteration tables between the alphabets of English, French, Italian, German, Russian, Persian and other languages. On the basis of these tables, the employees of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS have developed the "Transliteration" web portal.

The presentation of the National Transliteration System will take place on September 18 at 11:00 by the joint organization of the Divisions of Humanities, Physics, Mathematics and Technical Sciences of ANAS.
