One of the issues discussed at the next online meeting of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS was dedicated to the scientific activity of doctoral students and dissertators of the enterprise.

Speaking at the event, doctoral students and dissertators gave detailed information about their research, published theses, conference materials and articles, as well as the implementation of tasks given by their supervisors. It was noted that in connection with the special quarantine regime, doctoral students and dissertators regularly communicate with their supervisors online and discuss dissertations.

The vice-president of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Rasim Alguliyev commented on the speeches and gave recommendations for the analysis of scientific activity and attestation results of each researcher, monitoring and preparation of reports, coordination of their scientific activity and increase of efficiency.

The academician also noted that the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has given the status of holding doctoral defencies to the Institute of Information Technology. He said that the defense of doctors of sciences in several specialties could already be held at the institute. The scientist congratulated the staff of the institute on this occasion.
