Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Today marks the 97th anniversary of the birth of Turan Javid, daughter of the great Azerbaijani poet and playwright Huseyn Javid. Born on October 2, 1923 in the family of the great poet, Mrs. Turan was the last relic of the Javid dynasty. She fulfilled this task with honor, taking on the great mission of preserving the legacy of the immortal poet and passing it on to future generations, perpetuating the memory of the Javid family.

Turan Javid duly fulfilled his childhood duty as the founder of the writer's house museum and the publisher of his works. She was able to leave a valuable legacy to the people of Azerbaijan by preparing the last perfect edition of Javid's immortal works, which enriched Azerbaijani literature, and inherited belongings and documents of Javid and his family to the house museum after years.
