Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Employees of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS visited the museum of the first realist artist of Azerbaijan Bahruz Kangarli in Nakhchivan.

Providing information about the cultural center, the museum staff said that the house of culture was established by the order of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov on May 22, 2001 and opened on June 18, 2002 with the participation of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

It was noted that the museum, which, like other cultural institutions, is under the attention and care of the state, currently has about 1,300 exhibits, 61 of which are original works. Documents, photos, generation photo-album, personal and household items used by Bahruz Kangarli, as well as books and monographs published in different years, album-catalog and other exhibits are on display.
