President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, academician Isa Habibbeyli reviewed the projects presented for the competition for making new logo (emblem) of ANAS.

The event took place at the Presidium building of ANAS. Members of the Competition Committee as well as the authors of the projects being the workers of ANAS participated at the meeting.

Academician Isa Habibbeyli said that all projects reflect high standards, creative work, fantasy and artistic thoughts of the authors. The academician mentioned that some days before they got acquainted with the projects with the participation of the members of the Competition Committee and the authors, had discussions and he gave his recommendations. President of ANAS underlined that the projects perfectly reflect Azerbaijan, ANAS, our development, cutting-edge world science and national values.

Later on, Isa Habibbeyli, academician, President of ANAS, Arif Hashimov, academician, first Vise-president of ANAS, Dilgam Tagiyev, academision, vise-president of ANAS, Artegin Salamzade, editor-in-chief of the Institute of Architecture and Art of ANAS and Khazar Zeynalov, Phd, deputy director of the Institute of Architecture and Art reviewed the projects and had wide discussions.

The competition committee decided to introduce the project (logo) of Shalala Rustamova, head designer of “Science” publishing house of ANAS to the Presidium of ANAS for discussion.

Author Shalala Rustamova designed a “building” symbol in her project, Rizvan Babashov, scientific worker of Institute of Architecture and Art designed a “globus” symbol, Oksana Mammadova junior scientific worker of Institute of Architecture and Art designed a “book” symbol, Roya Mirzabayov, scientific worker of the Institute of Oriental studies designed a “fire” symbol, Minaya Feyzullayeva, junior scientific worker of Institute of Archeology and Antropology designed a “flag” symbol and Solmaz Namazova, scientific worker of the Institute of Oriental studies designed “ANAS” word in her project.

The design of Minaya Feyzullayeva, junior scientific worker of Institute of Archeology and Antropology succeed as a project with best artistic description.

President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, academician Isa Habibbeyli made a speech at the event and thanked the members of the Competition Committee and the authors of the projects and underlined that every work of the participants of the competition will be commented on.
