Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

As part of his visit to the People's Republic of China, President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Academician Isa Habibbeyli, visited the Hebei Museum in Shijiazhuang.

The visit began with a meeting with the Museum's Party Secretary and Director, Xiong Huibiao. Providing information about the history of the museum and its unique collections, Xiong Huibiao expressed the institution's interest in establishing scientific cooperation with Azerbaijan and carrying out joint research projects.

In his remarks, Academician Isa Habibbeyli spoke about the cooperation established between ANAS and Chinese scientific institutions and emphasized the importance of conducting scientific research based on museum collections and cultural heritage.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of commemorative gifts.

Academician Isa Habibbeyli then toured the museum's exhibition halls and familiarized himself with its collections. He was provided with detailed information about the museum's history and the cultural heritage objects exhibited there.

During the visit, Academician Isa Habibbeyli presented the ANAS Commemorative Badge to Agshin Aliyev, Head of the Department of Azerbaijani Language at Beijing Foreign Studies University, PhD in Philology, in recognition of his contribution to the development of scientific cooperation between Azerbaijan and China.
