Measures are being taken to improve the structure of the Institute of Information Technology

The issue of improving the structure of the Institute was discussed at the next online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Information Technologies of ANAS.

The vice-president of ANAS, director of the institute, academician Rasim Alguliyev said that despite the recent difficult situation in the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences due to the coronavirus pandemic, certain reforms are being carried out. Undoubtedly, the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh war and the Patriotic War are currently a priority. However, at the same time, there is a need to take measures to optimize the structure and improve the management of the institute in order to fulfill certain tasks, increase the efficiency of its activities. To this end, we must move forward by making certain changes in our activities.

According to the scientist, a number of personnel and structural reforms implemented at the academy have created the need to revise the nomenclature of positions in this institution. The new draft nomenclature submitted to the Presidium was approved after discussions. Very important decisions have been made to increase the status of scientific institutions of the Academy, to give them certain powers…
