Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A multidisciplinary international online conference on "Pontokaspi and the Caucasus: changes in the integration and isolation of ecosystems, phylogeny, geology, ecology and geography of living things" was held.

The main purpose of the event is to draw the attention of world scientists working in different fields to multidisciplinary research on the study of the Pontokaspi and Caucasus and to create conditions for the development of measures to address global problems in the region.

Director of the Shamakhi Astrophysics Observatory named after Nasreddin Tusi, corresponding member of ANAS Namig Jalilov and researcher of the enterprise, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Fazil Ismayilov also took part in the online conference.The report on the determination of the distribution of the spectral reflection coefficient of the Caucasus-Caspian region on the basis of space images provided by our scientists was met with interest...
