Elman Ibrahimov, chief researcher of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS, doctor of mathematical sciences, brought a new integral transformation to the harmonic analysis created by the Gegenbauer differential operator in mathematical science.

Thus, he touched upon a topic that has not been studied recently. The scientist's articles on the type theorem on the limitation of the Riesz potential created by the Gegenbauer differential have been published in more than 30 international scientific journals.

Ibrahimov proved the straight jackson and inverse bernstein theorems in the theory of convergence through Gegenbauer transformations. Input theorems are related to finding a generalized solution of the equations of mathematical physics.

The mathematician Gegenbauer said that many new researches could be carried out in the future with the application of the theorem proved by the harmonic analysis generated by the differential operator.
