Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The 5th international scientific-theoretical online conference on "Azerbaijani manuscripts in world libraries" dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Institute of Manuscripts named after Mohammad Fuzuli of ANAS was held.

The 4-day event was attended by scientists and specialists from various countries, including scientific and educational institutions of the country.

Opening the event, the director of the institute, academician Teymur Karimli, noted that our people are living in great joy and historic days. He congratulated the participants on the great victory of our glorious army over the provocative enemy under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Dear Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

The academician also noted that 2020 is also significant in connection with the 70th anniversary of the Institute of Manuscripts. Saying that our country has a rich treasury of manuscripts, the scientist called national leader Heydar Aliyev's Institute of Manuscripts our national treasure and reminded that he valued the rare books preserved here as valuable historical monuments of Azerbaijan...

The event was also attended by deputy directors of the institute, doctors of philology - Aybaniz Aliyeva-Kengerly, Pasha Karimov, scientific secretary - doctor of philology, associate professor Azizaga Najafzadeh and others.
