Director of the Institute of Genetic Resources, corresponding member of ANAS Zeynal Akparov, associate professors Khanbala Rustamov and Mehraj Abbasov's article "Адаптивный потенциал сортов пшеницы твердой (Triticum durum Desf.) Азербайджана" was published in the scientific journal "Applied Botany, Genetics and Selection" of the All-Russian Institute of Plant Genetic Resources named after N.I.Vavilov.

The article is based on the results of long-term research on the adaptive potential of ancient local, folk and scientific selection varieties of durum wheat created in Azerbaijan in different agro-climatic conditions.

It should be noted that this publication is one of the most well-known and widely read journals on plant genetic resources in the Russian Federation.
