The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will host a conference on "International Radioactive Waste Management: Solutions for a Sustainable Future" on November 1-5, 2021.

The conference, to be held in Vienna, Austria, aims to promote the exchange of views and information on the current situation and solutions in the field of radioactive waste management. Those wishing to participate in the conference with a report or poster presentation must submit an abstract in electronic format by March 5, 2021 through the conference's web-based document submission system IAEA - INDICO.

It should be noted that the conference was attended by scientists and experts from countries with experience in this field, "National programmatic perspectives", "Implementation of waste management strategies", "Relevant waste solutions", "The role of improving safety in supporting radioactive waste management", " It is planned to hold panel discussions on "Socio-economic aspects of radioactive waste management programs", "Integrated waste management" and "International cooperation in radioactive waste management", as well as the organization of additional events and exhibitions.
