The next online scientific seminar was held at the Institute of Economics of ANAS.

Opening the seminar, Director of the Institute, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nazim Imanov informed about the main topic of discussion of the event.

The report of Ravana Davudova, Deputy Head of the Department of Mathematical Support of Economic Research, Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics, Associate Professor was heard at the event.

The researcher said that since the beginning of 2020, the manifestations of the COVID-19 pandemic have been observed in all countries, including large economies, including Azerbaijan. According to her, by the end of 2020, the scale of changes in the dynamics of a number of macroeconomic indicators of our country became more noticeable. From this point of view, the analysis and forecasting of macroeconomic indicators of our country is an urgent issue.

At the end, the speaker answered questions and had extensive discussions on the topic.
