Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

In a letter addressed to the Director of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna, Russia, Academician G.V.Trubnikov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan in JINR, Director General of the Institute of Physics of ANAS, Academician Arif Hashimov, V.I.Wexler and A.M.Baldin a competition has been announced to fill the vacancy of director of the laboratory.

This was decided at the 129th session of the Scientific Council of the JINR, which was held on February 18-19, 2021.

Elections for the position of Director of the Laboratory of High Energy Physics named after V.I.Wexler and A.M.Baldin will be held at the 131st session of the Scientific Council of the JINR, which will be held on February 24-25, 2022.

Nominations for the competition are accepted until December 24, 2021.
