Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The Institute of the Caucasian Studies of ANAS hosted an online round table dedicated to March 31 - the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis.

The event was opened by the director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Musa Gasimli, who spoke about the causes, methods and results of the bloody events committed in March-April 1918. M.Gasimli said that the Bolsheviks and Dashnaks systematically committed genocide against Azerbaijanis.

Then Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs, Doctor of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Ramila Dadashova, Scientific Secretary, Associate Professor Sudabe Huseynova, Head of the Department of the Armenian Studies, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Gasim Hajiyev, Head of the Department of the Georgian Studies, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor Vahid Omarov, Caucasus Policy Head of the Department, Doctor of Philosophy in History, Associate Professor Elnur Kalbizadeh, Head of the Department of translation, publication and information Gunel Musayeva, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists Gunay Feyziyeva and Chairman of the Trade Union Yegana Bakhshiyeva spoke.
