Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Head of the department of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami of ANAS, professor Tahira Mammad took part in the international symposium "Social sciences and social problems in Turkey in the XXI century" organized by the Union of Turkish Academicians and Gazi University.

At the symposium with the participation of scholars from the Turkish republics and autonomous organizations, Tahira Mammad made a report on "Recognition of some examples of Azerbaijani literature as the works of Armenian authors."

Tahira Mammad also touched upon the fact of mastering the material culture of Azerbaijan. Giving information about the historical role and function of Yerevan and Shusha as cultural centers of Azerbaijan, the scientist stressed that Shusha will regain its mission after our historic victory in the Great Patriotic War.

At the end, a proposal was made to establish a permanent commission on the protection of Turkish cultures and copyright within the Union of Turkish Academicians.
