Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The 7th edition of the "Spelling dictionary of the Azerbaijani language" has been published. The dictionary was compiled by the staff of the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi of ANAS.

The scientific editor of the dictionary is the director of the Institute of Linguistics, academician Mohsun Nagisoylu, the responsible editors are doctor of philological sciences, professor Ismayil Mammadli and doctor of philological sciences Nariman Seyidaliyev. The reviewers of the publication are professors Buludkhan Khalilov, Gazanfar Kazimov and doctor of philology, associate professor Shahla Ahmadova.

The dictionary includes more than 5,000 words. Some of these words are neologisms created by the internal possibilities of our language.
