“Paperclip” – silver coin minted on behalf of Shah Ismayil Khatai, Azerbaijan ruler, founder of the Safavids, was included to National Museum of Azerbaijan History.
Current paperclip which was in turnover in Lar-Larijan city located in the South Iran belongs to Shah Ismayil and Shah Tahmasib eras. Though similar to the hair pin, by the time it was used as a means of money.
Note that, this type of item is the only exhibit protected at Numismatics fund of museum.
