Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

By joint organization of AR Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Azerbaijan Embassy to Italy and Italian –Azerbaijani Association, Rome city hosted the first Azerbaijan – Italy Tourism Forum.

Within the frame of the forum, “Eco-tourism potential of Azerbaijan” book prepared by ANAS scientists was presented.

Note that, new edition dedicated to declaration of 2011 as the “Year of Tourism” by President Ilham Aliyev has been published in Azerbaijan and English languages.

Publishing in the “East-West” house and consisting of 2 covers, the book devoted to eco tourism potential of Azerbaijan, natural resources and cultural heritage.

Co-authors of the book are AR State Land and Cartography Committee chair, academician-secretary of ANAS Department of Agrarian Sciences acad. Garib Mammadov, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Elman Yusifov, Doctor of Geographical SciencesMahmud Karimov and PhD in biology Vugar Khalilov.

Scientific editors are ANAS president acad. Akif Alizadeh, corresponding members of ANAS Ilham Alakbarov and Tariyel Talibov.

The new edition also aroused great interest by the participants. Manuela Traldi President of the ITAZERCOM Association, Rosina Sgaravatti, President of the “Sgaravatti Garden” talked about collaborative fulfillments.
