Aran Regional Department of ANAS National Museum of Azerbaijan History held 90

th 

anniversary of People poet of Azerbaijan, celebrate dramatist Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh in Sor-sor village secondary school, Kurdamir.

Opening the event director of the school Zeynal Safarov made speech on creativity of dramatist, social figure, State Laureate of USSR and Azerbaijan Republic, active member of ANAS prof. Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh. B. Vahabzadeh is one of the celebrate figures of Azerbaijan literature. His creativity played great role in entrenching civic spirit of poetry and enriching literary-social thoughts with ideas of independence, he noted.

Then, employee of the museum, senior lecturer Malahat Kalantarli delivered a lecture on “Social-political motives in B. Vahabzadeh’s creativity”. 

Patters of B. Vahabzadeh’s favorite plays have been sounded by school students in the event.

Director of Kurdamir city secondary school No 6 Elmira Shikhaliyeva, employee of Education department Ismayil Mehdiyev and others spoke about dramatist’s merits in Azerbaijan art of word.
