Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

By organization of ANAS Young Scientists and Specialists Council, Department of Affairs and Trade Union 2nd Football Championship of ANAS Young Scientist and Specialists devoted to national leader Heydar Aliyev’s 92nd anniversary kicked off. 

In the opening ceremony which took place in the stadium of Academy campus, chairman of the Council PhD in physics Famin Salmanov congratulated the teams. Chairman noted that, it is not accidental to devote championship to the birthday of national leader Heydar Aliyev, because during his governance in all spheres of Azerbaijan, including in sport were successes several achievements. Baku to host for a number of international sporting events, "Baku European Games - 2015" is the logical continuation of the political course of great leader.

Then, deputy chief of ANAS Department of Affairs Sardar Aliyev, chairman of Trade Union, prof. Isa Aliyev and director of campus Nazim Sadigov wished successes to teams.  

In the match is managed by professional judges of AFFA, were met winner of 1st Football Championship, Institute of Geology and Geophysics and Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry. Teams of the Institutes of Mechanics and Mathematics, Economics, Genetic Resources, Information Technology, Physics, Experimental-Industrial Plant competed group matches.
