Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Presidium of ANAS signed the order about e-science monitoring in the institute and organizations of ANAS.

“National Strategy on the Information Society Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2014-2020”, approved by Mr. President dated April 2 has set vital tasks before Azerbaijan science. One of them is forming of e-science. AzScienceNet, as a network platform of e-science, has been improved in ANAS recently. Covering all institute and organizations of ANAS by means of this network, usage of its services and integration into the global world are being successfully continued.

With the goal to analyze and assess ICT state of the scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS, to detect digital differences, to determine priorities for the next round of e-science, as well as to submit the results of ANAS for 2014 to the General assembly devoted to the activity results, decision was made on carrying out monitoring.

Report development based on the organization and results of the monitoring was assigned to the Institute of Information Technology.
