International conference was held on the protection of Caspian seals that on the extinction in Moscow. Three day conference entitled “Caspian seal: modern status, protection and usage problems” was listened lectures on ecological factors causing depletion of living creatures and their prevention methods. Conference organized by RAS Institute of Ecology and Evolution Problems brought together 44 scientists and specialists of England, Netherlands, Italy and 5 Caspian littoral states.

Tariyel Eybatov, PhD in biology director of Nature History Museum on behalf of Hasan bey Zardabi, Institute of Geology and Geophysics of ANAS delivered lectures on “Current state and prospects for the protection of seals in the Azerbaijan water area of the Caspian Sea” and “44 years monitoring dynamics of Caspian seal bodies on the north shore of the Absheron Peninsula”.
