Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh said this idea at a meeting with representatives of the media.

One of the priority issues in the reforms carried out by the Academy, associated with the youth policy. Various projects are implemented in order to attract talented young people into science. In cooperation with prestigious scientific organizations of the world, young professionals, distinguished by their talent and education, are sent for training in the leading scientific centers of the world. In addition, the Science Development Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan provides grants to young scientists and specialists to promote their scientific activities.

One of the major activities undertaken by the Academy is the establishment of the Academy based departments to prepare highly qualified young scientists and specialists.

Nomination youth on competition Presidential Award for young people is an important step on the way to stimulate their scientific activities. In ANAS also planned to implement various projects to generate highly qualified young scientists.
