Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The scientist-orientalist, leading researcher in the Department of Arabic manuscripts of the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS, PhD in theology Sabina Nematzadeh May 15-17, 2015 was on a scientific mission in the city of Samsun in Turkey. Purpose of the trip was to participate in the 4th International Symposium " City and the child from the past to the present” ("Geçmişten Günümüze Şehir ve Çocuk"), which was held at the organization of the Municipality of Janik and international journal "History Studies".

In the symposium S.Nematzadeh presented her report entitled "The city and culture in miniature drawings of Turkish-Islamic manuscripts". The report of the Azerbaijani scientist aroused great interest among the participants of the event.
