President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) acad. Akif Alizadeh has received EaZy’s authorized representative.

Speaking about the prospects of cooperation between AMEA and EaZy Solutions, Akif Alizadeh pointed out that the use of the electronic editions is of great importance in the work of local scientists. Academy’s head stressed that great importance for domestic scientists is a possibility to use books, journals and other publications that reflect the latest scientific knowledge in accordance with the requirements of the modern world.

In turn, the guest expressed his gratitude for the development of bilateral ties. He emphasized that EaZy Solutions cooperates is cooperating successfully with such leading publishing houses as Cambridge University Press, DeGruyter, JSTOR, and others, provides their products and services to many universities and scientific institutions in the world.

In the meeting it was decided to examine the need for services and products of those publishing houses and hold a roundtable this October to discuss the works carried out in this sphere in the country. During the meeting with the participation of local and foreign experts the sides will discuss such issues as access to the database of the international publishing houses, publishing of articles in their publications, and their effective use.
