Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of the Institute of Genetic Resources (IGR), corresponding member of ANAS Zeynal Akbarov received director of the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of Belarus Academy of Sciences, PhD in Biology, associate professor Valentin Lemesh.

During the meeting Z.Akperov informed guests about the history and departments of scientific institution led by him spoke about the laws adopted in the field of genetic resources, and government support.

In turn V. Lemesh told about newly created modern laboratories and the scientific researchers conducted at BAS Institute of Genetics and Cytology.

It was noted that both institutions conduct research projects on similar topics, including in both organizations are Next-generation sequencing of various firms.
