Institute of History, Ethnography and Archaeology of ANAS Nakhchivan Branch held report assembly.

Opening the assembly, chairman of the branch acad. Ismayil Hajiyev highly appreciated the submission of “Nakhchivan history” multivolume I cover for the publication.

Prof. Hajifakhraddin Safarli reported on scientific-organizing activity of the institute for 2013, and noted that, employees have held research works in 14 stages over 5 works. The employee of the institute is an active member of ANAS, 2 individuals are corresponding members of ANAS, 1 Dr. History, professor, 7 PhDs in history and 3 are scientific workers.

During report period, 159 scientific articles (40 in abroad) and 167 paper articles have been published by institute employees. 7 workshops related in scientific-researches works and 10 assemblies of Scientific Council have been held. Beside of Action Plan for 2013, multivolume Nakhchivan History I cover’s preparation has been provided and submitted for publication. Institute employees have attended in several international conferences and symposiums.

Numerous articles prepared due to 90th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev and declaration of 2013 as a “Year of Heydar Aliyev” in Nakhchivan AR and published in the journal and newspapers.

Institute employees were in close scientific collaboration via several highest schools in Baku, ANAS Institutes of Archeology and History, scientific and educational institutions of U.S. and France, as well as scientists of Russia, Turkey and Georgia.

After attending the report, corresponding members of ANAS – Tariyel Talibov, Vali Bakhshaliyev and Haji Gadir Gadirzadeh highlighted obtained successes during 2013.
