Scientific Council of ANAS Institute of Literature held assembly chaired by vice- academician-secretary of ANAS Department of Humanitarian and Social Sciences acad. Vasim Mammadaliyev.

Vice-president of ANAS, director of the institute acad. Isa Habibbayliopened the assembly informed about the issues on the agenda, congratulated Hijran Nasibova, employee of the institute PhD in philology on the occasion of 60th jubilee, and presented Honor Title of the institute to her.

Isa Habibbayli gave detailed information on signed agreement with Turkic Academy of Turkish-speaking states, and brought to mind preliminary agreements obtained on creation of common Turkic literature.

Then, the scientific secretary of the Institute, Doctor of Philology, Professor Badirkhan Ahmadov reported on scientific and scientific-organizational activity of the institute for 2013. Paid attention to the events held at the institute, and done works. Scientific-researches have been held over 2 directions 5 problems, and 18 topics.

Noted that, in a current year 2 individuals have defended doctoral and 7 individuals PhD theses at the dissertation board of the institute.

Finally discussions were held and annual report highly appreciated.
