On October 22, 2013 at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS the next meeting of Department of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences of ANAS took place.

Meeting at which members of bureau and the director of institutes took part was opened by the vice-president of ANAS, academician Akif Gadzhiyev who gave information on agenda questions.

Having told about successful realization of process attraction of youth in science area, A.Gadzhiyev reported that according to the Order of Presidium of ANAS about performance of the Decree of the President of AR “About establishment of the Presidential award for youth” the list of the candidates determined by Office, will be presented to ANAS Presidium.

A.Gadzhiyev reported that during meeting of Presidium of ANAS which has passed on September 18, 2013, the relevant decisions concerning carrying out 70-year anniversary of ANAS, it was entrusted to scientific offices and regional scientific centers to prepare the offers in connection with carrying out anniversary and to present them to the commission.

Within action the offers concerning the plan of carrying out 70-year anniversary of ANAS (in March, 2015), multidisciplinary projects in ANAS, and also the changes made to the Charter of ANAS were put forward, and questions of inclusion of Selen Scientific and production association in structure of DFMTS, education in doctoral studies abroad, carrying out scientific conference of doctoral candidates of ANAS, and also questions of a rating of ANAS institutes are discussed.

During meeting the questions of introduction of partial changes in structure of editorial boards of “ANAS News, Series of Physical and Mathematical and Technical Science” and “Works of Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics” magazines issued in ANAS were also considered.
