Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Four-storey pavilion with 1,800 square meters covers the expositions portraying historical and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, rich environmental resources, figures of Azerbaijan, regional cuisines, food safety, environmental protection, natural resources saving and other areas, at the international exhibition with participation of 145 countries all around the world.

Note that, within the exhibition was held scientific-popular conference on topic "Energy of Azerbaijan land, on July 21.

At the conference, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev gave a paper on “Past, present and future of Azerbaijani oil", Acting Academician-Secretary of the Department of Physical Mathematical and Technical Sciences corresponding member of ANAS Nazim Mammadov on "The prospects of bio and nanotechnology in Azerbaijan", Director of ANAS Institute of Petrochemical Processes Vagif Abbasov on “The only healing oil in the world: Naphthalene oil”.

At the event also attended head of ANAS Department of Relations with the international organizations, PhD in history Nurida Guliyeva.

Within the exhibition the next conference will be organzied on August 26, the final event on September 4. At the final conference, President of ANAS, Academician Akif Alizadeh will deliver a presentation on the topic "Food, Science, Life" dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Academy.

As a continuation of the conference, the delegation led by Academicoan A.Alizadeh will take place at the next conference by the invitation of the Switzerland Lugano Mayor's Office.

Tədbirdə AMEA-nın akademik-katibi, akademik Rasim Əliquliyev, Geologiya və Geofizika İnstitutunun Palçıq vulkanizmi şöbəsinin rəhbəri, geologiya-mineralogiya elmləri doktoru, professor Adil Əliyev də çıxış edəcəklər.

ANAS Academician-secretary, Academician Rasim Alguliyev and head of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics Department of mud volcanoes, Dr. Geology-mineralogical sciences Adil Aliyev will perform.
