Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Scientific Council of ANAS Institute of History held the next assembly. Departments of this institute gave the annual reports at the assembly chaired by director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Yagub Mahmudov.

Presidium of ANAS was represented by acad. Teymur Bunyadov. Reporting with a lecture, corresponding member of ANAS Yagub Mahmudov stated that, fundamental studies were held in the institute with the purpose to respond the baseless Armenian ideas. In 2013, studies were held over “General Concept of Azerbaijan history” key scientific direction. Collections composed of archive documents brought from Germany, Russia, Turkey, Great Britain, Georgia and other countries, published fundamental works and their translations into various foreign languages have been realized.

It was noted that, in 2013 were published; “Heydar Aliyev : Azerbaijan's science guard” 2 -volume collection of documents and materials , “Heydar Aliyev " ( 2 volumes ) monograph , “Heydar Aliyev's victory march of ideas " (in Ukrainian) , " Heydar Aliyev and the history of the development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic” books, “Gubadli: gate of the ancient land of Azerbaijan, Zangazur " ( Azeri, Russian and English ), " the Garagoyunlu and Aghgoyunlu " , " Azerbaijani - Russian relations ( in the second half of the XVIII century and early XIX century )”, “Eurasia trade relations in the Middle Ages” , “The 1905 massacres against the Azerbaijani province of Tiflis” , “Werner von Siemens . Caucasus travel” , “Old Persian inscriptions ( transliteration , translation , glossary )”, “The second half of the XVIII century - the beginning of the XIX century, the Azerbaijani-Russian relations " , " Azerbaijan - Georgia relations ( the late XVIII to the present day )”, “Sumgayit provocation Against Azerbaijan: Gregorian work”, “Vedibasar 1918-1988 massacres” , “Goynuk movement " , " 1918 genocide against the Azerbaijani people : organizers and murderers” monographs , " Azerbaijan in the historical archive documents (May - October, 1918 ) I volume, Political Archive documentation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany " , “Azerbaijan in the historical archive documents ( XIX - XX centuries)” I volume, “Documents of Georgia Central Archive and Georgia Central State Historical Archive of Modern History”, “Azerbaijan in the historical archive documents ( XIX - XX centuries), “Azerbaijan State Historical Archive documents”. During a report year, institute held several conference, workshop, institute employees have attended international conferences held in foreign countries. Staff training has been continued at the institute, 17 individuals completed scientific research works and 49 individuals are studying PhD education.

Scientific Council demonstrated exhibition composed of publishing books in the institute in 2013.

Finally, acad. Teymur Bunyadov reported and gave his suggestions and proposals related in report of the institute for 2013.
