Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The publishing house "Science and Education" published the book by Deputy Director for scientific affairs of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History of ANAS, Doctor of historical sciences Nargis Aliyeva on "The role of Arabic literature in the study of scientific and cultural environment of Azerbaijan (XI-XIII century)”.

The book explores the scientific and cultural environment of Azerbaijan based on data by Arabic authors of XI-XIII centuries - Ibn Makula, As-Silafi Ibn Nogta, Ibn as-Sabuni.

The scientific editor of the new edition is the director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History Academician Naila Velikhanli and editor - a leading researcher in the Department of Arabic manuscripts of the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS, PhD in theology Sabina Neymatzadeh.
