On the eve of the anniversary of the Institute of Geography of ANAS was published another book of the institution - "Institute of Geography-70."

The book, published under the chief editorship of the institute director, Academician Ramiz Mammadov, reflects the results of research projects conducted at the Institute of Geography of the 70-year development period. The publication provides a broad analysis of the scientific research conducted on the areas of geography; landscape studies, geomorphology, paleo geography, climatology, hydrology, soil geography, eco geography, economic and social geography, geographical problems of the Caspian Sea, cartography, and others.

The book is intended for specialists in the field of geography, teachers and students of higher educational institutions, as well as a wider audience.
