Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The book titled as “Scientific ties and educational activity of Azerbaijani scientists in the medieval ages” by Deputy Director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History for Academic Affairs, Dr. History Nargis Aliyeva, was released.

Book deals with Azerbaijani scientists’ activities and mutual scientific ties, educational ventures and training methods in various cultural centers of the Middle East and Central Asia. In addition, primary educational centers, a variety of scientific institutions where Azerbaijani scientists had operated as an architectural teacher, as well as madrasah and khanegahs which functioned in Azerbaijan.

Book provides information about over 30 madrasahs of the Caliphate and Azerbaijani architectural teachers who operated there. Work compiles proceedings on the notable educators who taught to Azerbaijani scientists.

Scientific editor is director of the Institute of History, corresponding member Yagub Mahmudov.
