Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On October 7, seminar on topic “Methods of fire protection and obligations of enterprises and organizations on its implementation” at Central Scientific Library of ANAS. Event co-organized by 2nd Special department of ANAS Presidium Administration, Civil Defense Department of Civil Defense Forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Academy of Emergency Situations, and State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Deputy Directors of ANAS institute and organizations for general affairs, headquarters, and Fire forces commanders were attended in the event.

Speaking about the significance of the event, chief of II Special department Eldar Guliyev stated that, the main objective is to raise awareness of employees in the event of natural disasters, fires, technological accidents, etc.

The next speaker was the chief of the Office of Civil Defense Civil Defense Troops of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel Gudrat Agayev, who in his speech informed about the article 6 of the Law of Azerbaijan Republic "On Fire protection". It was noted that, with the goal to ensure fire protection in each institution, it should be seriously enforced fire safety to relevant standards, norms and rules of construction, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.

Speakers at the seminar Head of the Department of fire safety of the Academy of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel-Lieutenant of internal service Kazim Kazimov, head of the Promotion Department of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Colonel Hikmet Jafarov and senior specialist of the same department Nizami Farajov stressed the importance of organizing such events in terms of strict compliance Safety in emergencies.
